Set 109 “South Coast Daylight Express”

Another Interesting colour scheme for an R set is Set 109, in Verdant Green and Manilla. I believe it ran in this scheme from 1938 – 1949 when repainted Tuscan/Russet colours. This was a 6 car set with 1 x BR First, 2 x FR Second an RBR Buffet and 2 x HR Second Class Terminals. These HR’s are of a different design to the ones in Set 108 by having one less seating compartment and therefore a longer baggage section. I now have this version of HR carriage available.
